Topias Marttila

Topias Marttila has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Topias began their career at the University of Helsinki, where they worked as a Research Assistant and Part-Time Teacher in the Department of Computer Science from May 2003 to July 2006.

After that, they moved on to the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Media Lab, where they served as a Researcher and Technical Coordinator from 2004 to October 2006. During this time, they developed a popular similarity map based election engine and worked on various multinational projects.

Since October 2006, Topias Marttila has been associated with Efecte Plc, initially starting as a Software Developer and progressing through various roles including Team Leader, Project Manager, Product Manager, Cloud Operations Manager, Director of Engineering, and their current position as CTO. In their current role, they lead Efecte's R&D, cloud ops, and technology strategy.

Topias Marttila pursued their education at the University of Helsinki from 2000 to 2004. During this period, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering.
