Joseph McCarthy is an experienced professional in materials science and consulting, currently serving as a Manager at EFESO since January 2016 and as a Consultant at BSM Lean Consultants since May 2015. Prior to these roles, Joseph was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Trinity College Dublin from 2011 to April 2015, where contributions were made to the SMARTOP consortium project, focusing on the development of flexible transparent conducting electrodes for large area fabrication. Joseph holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin (2006-2010) and a degree in Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials from the same institution (2002-2006).
