Effective Code Ltd is an independent software studio in London with two practices under one roof: we build AI products, and we break them.

On the build side, led by Giordano Scalzo, we design and ship AI-first mobile apps for iOS and Android — native and React Native — taking B2C products from first idea to a live store listing. Our work spans LLMs, agents, RAG, and on-device vision, alongside fractional engineering leadership and rapid AI prototyping.

On the security side, led by Mattia Scalzo, we run offensive security for a world that now runs on models: penetration testing, red team operations, LLM and AI red teaming (prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exfiltration, agent abuse), bot detection and checkout-abuse testing, and security reviews for AI products.

With 15+ years shipping software for clients including Pret a Manger, The New Yorker, NatWest, Trainline, Vodafone and more, we build the AI products that matter and make sure the ones that ship are the ones that hold up.
