Wouter Buzing

Wouter Buzing has a work experience spanning over two decades. Wouter started their career as a software developer at A.I.B. in 1994 and then worked as a software developer at Mediasystemen from 1995 to 1996. In 1997, they briefly worked as a project leader at Sigma Coatings. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a consultant in IT & Management Information at Anne Paul Brinkman.

In 2000, they joined N.C.B.P. as a system administrator until 2000. Later that year, Wouter joined Effectory as an account manager, where they progressed from junior to senior, providing management information and consulting services to customers until 2005.

In 2005, Wouter became the Manager of Software Development & Reporting at Effectory, managing two departments and three Scrum teams across different locations. After stepping down from this role in 2012, Wouter took on the role of Chief Information Security Officer at Effectory, ensuring compliance with information security standards and protecting privacy-sensitive data. During this time, they also served as the Product Owner for software development projects and was responsible for HR-related matters and coaching Scrum teams.

In 2018, Wouter took up the role of People Analytics and International Business Support at Effectory, focusing on exploring analytical insights for customers and supporting the company's international expansion. However, by February 2020, they had left this role.

Wouter Buzing completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 1993 and 1997. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Business Information Studies from the University of Amsterdam from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Wouter Buzing has obtained several certifications over the years. In 2010, they earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance. The following year, in 2011, they became a Certified Scrum Professional.

In 2016, they achieved the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification and also obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Extension, Agile Tester certification.

Wouter Buzing then went on to obtain the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2017, followed by the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from the same institution in 2017.

In 2018, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².

Furthermore, in 2019, Wouter Buzing completed the HR Analytics Leader certification as well as the Strategic HR Metrics certification from the HR Analytics Academy.

Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
