By 2010, it evolved into a Nonpublic Agency, solidifying its capacity to serve charter schools. Today, EECS has a statewide presence in California, committed to delivering efficient and effective services for students with exceptional needs, ensuring compliance with special education law. EECS extends its specialized services to various educational settings, including charter schools, home schools, private schools, and traditionally based public schools. The comprehensive range of service providers includes Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Educational Specialists (special education teachers), BCBA’s, School Psychologists, School Nurses, Physical Therapists, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers, Audiologists, Visual Itinerant Teachers, Adaptive Physical Education Specialists, Orientation and Mobility Teachers, and Orthopedically Impaired Teachers. The organization's core philosophy centers around a 'kid-centered' approach, with a mission to offer skilled and dynamic special education support to maintain charter schools' compliance.
