Nick Kim

Nick Kim is a General Partner at Upfront Ventures, where the focus is on early-stage investments and partnerships with founders across various technology sectors. In addition to this role, Nick serves as a Seed Investor and Board Member for several companies, including BrightAI, a platform for critical infrastructure, and a stealth clean energy startup specializing in enhanced geothermal power production. Nick's investment portfolio also includes ventures in low power processors, automated manufacturing for defense, optical sensing for space, and vertical SaaS for the travel industry. Previously, Nick held the position of Principal at Crosscut Ventures, where investments were made in multiple early-stage startups. Nick is a Kauffman Fellow, contributing to the development of leaders in venture capital, and holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
