Tim Callahan

Tim Callahan is a highly skilled Compiler Engineer currently at Efficient Computer, specializing in ML kernels for large language models, compilers, simulators, and hardware/algorithm co-design. Previously, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they built environments for HW accelerator co-design and contributed to multiple open-source projects. Tim's extensive experience also includes roles at Wave Computing, Cadence Design Systems, and Carnegie Mellon University, alongside research positions at various esteemed institutions. They hold a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Diploma in Computer Science with Distinction from the University of Cambridge.
