Izik Orgad is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and software development. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Efficient Frontier since April 2025, Izik focuses on leading the high-frequency trading (HFT) engineering team to deliver robust, low-latency trading systems while driving growth and technical direction. Previously, Izik held the position of VP Engineering at Firebolt from May 2019 to April 2025, where responsibilities included establishing and scaling the engineering organization and leading the architectural design of a cloud data warehouse. Earlier roles include Software Engineering Manager at Bitmain and various development positions at companies such as Jethro, Amdocs, and P.Z Projects. Izik's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Software Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
