Bel Lazar

Chief Operating Officer at Efficient Power Conversion

Bel Lazar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bel started their career at International Rectifier, where they held various engineering and managerial positions for over a decade. Bel then served as the Director of Operations before becoming the VP/GM of the Advanced Analog & Magnitude-3 Companies. Later, they became the VP/GM of the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit.

In 2008, Bel Lazar joined Microsemi as the Senior Vice President Operation-Corporate. After three years, they moved to API Technologies Corp., where they initially served as the President & Chief Operating Officer before being promoted to President & CEO.

In 2015, Lazar joined Efficient Power Conversion as the Vice President Operations. Bel later became the Chief Operating Officer in 2019.

In addition to their role at Efficient Power Conversion, they also became a Board Member of LGL Group, Inc. in 2019.

In 2019, Bel Lazar briefly held the position of Acting CEO at Freebird Semiconductor before transitioning to their current role as the Chief Executive Officer of EPC Space in 2020.

Bel Lazar attended the University of Southern California from 1984 to 1986, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1984, they studied at California State University, Northridge and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical). Moving to a different field, Bel Lazar attended Southwestern Law School from 1993 to 1997, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Law.
