Ravi Ananth

Director, IC Design Center at Efficient Power Conversion

Ravi Ananth has over 25 years of experience in IC design and engineering. Ravi is currently the Director of the IC Design Center at Efficient Power Conversion since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Custom Silicon Solutions, Inc. from 2014 to 2018, where they specialized in analog IC design and worked closely with customers to develop customized ASIC implementations. Ravi also served as a Fellow R&D in Electrical Engineering at Boston Scientific from 2008 to 2013, where they were responsible for the design of a low-power mixed-signal IC for a subcutaneously implantable cardiac defibrillator. Before that, they were the Group Manager of Mixed-Signal IC Design at Alfred Mann Foundation from 2004 to 2008, where they designed efficient power delivery ICs for portable RF devices. Ravi also worked as the Director of Electrical Engineering Group at the Alfred Mann Institute at the University of Southern California from 2001 to 2004 and as a Senior RFIC Design Engineer at Motorola from 2000 to 2001. Ravi began their career as an Advisory Engineer at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center where they led an international transceiver IC design group and designed opto-electronic analog receiver circuits for infrared communication links.

Ravi Ananth completed their M.A.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto from 1990 to 1992.
