Robert Strittmatter

Vice President of Reliability at Efficient Power Conversion

Robert Strittmatter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert is currently the Vice President of Reliability at Efficient Power Conversion, where they lead a team responsible for the reliability of Gallium Nitride (eGaN) discretes and IC's. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Engineering at Efficient Power Conversion Corporation.

Robert also has experience in electro-optic systems development, particularly for DOD customers, as the Director of Device Development at GEOST. At NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Scholar, and at the California Institute of Technology, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Kaman Aerospace - Electro-Optics Development Center.

Throughout their career, Robert has gained expertise in various aspects of system development, including modeling, design, implementation, and testing. Robert has also had extensive customer interface and business capture responsibilities.

Robert Strittmatter completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the California Institute of Technology, specializing in Semiconductor Physics. Robert attended the California Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2003.
