Yanping Ma

Yanping Ma has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to quality, reliability, and technology development. From 2009 to the present, they have been with Efficient Power Conversion, initially serving as the Director of Quality and Reliability from 2009 to 2015, and then promoted to the position of VP Quality in September 2015. Prior to that, Yanping worked at International Rectifier from 1996 to 2008. During their time at International Rectifier, they held multiple positions, including Device Design/Technology Development Engineer, Product Engineer/Project Manager, and MOSFET Device Design/Technology Development Engineer. At Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Yanping worked as a Research Assistant from 1991 to 1996, and as a Visiting Scientist from 1989 to 1991. Overall, Yanping's experience spans both the private and research sectors, focusing on quality, reliability, and technology development in the fields of power electronics and semiconductors.

Yanping Ma received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University from 1981 to 1986. Later, Yanping pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 1991 to 1996.
