Daryn Ewen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. In 2014, they started their career as a Civil Engineer and received recognition for their visionary work. In this role, they were responsible for various areas including water resources, structures, and maintenance procedures. Daryn also worked on design and research projects related to drainage systems and coal handling.

From 2016 to 2017, Daryn served as a Business Associate, where they contributed to the successful execution of capital and operational projects. Daryn implemented "Lean Construction" principles and reduced working days and commissioning schedule, leading to significant time and cost savings.

In 2017, Daryn became a Senior Business Consultant and took on responsibilities such as reducing coal logistics costs, developing cost analysis models, and providing advisory support to the Department of Public Enterprises.
