Alex Kizer

Alex Kizer is a seasoned professional in technology innovation and decarbonization strategies, currently serving as a Pillar Member for Technology & Innovation at Dentons and a Global Leadership Board Member for the Alliance to Save Energy. From 2017 to 2023, Alex was the Senior Vice President for Research at the Energy Futures Initiative, where they managed research focused on energy system transitions to net zero emissions. They have also held pivotal roles at Sandia National Laboratories and the U.S. Department of Energy, contributing to critical infrastructure security and energy policy. Alex holds a BA in Public Policy Analysis from Ohio University and an MA in International Energy Policy from American University.
