Giovanni Canarecci is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software engineering, data science, and academic research. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Efima Oyj since June 2023, Giovanni specializes in Azure integration, DevOps, and AI-related coding while consulting on customer projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Blueprint Genetics, focusing on machine learning and natural language processing, and participation in the first EU TalentOn with EU TalentOn. Giovanni worked as a Software Developer at Vediafi Oy, engaging in backend development and CO2 reduction efforts, and held positions in academia, including Visiting Researcher roles at Montgomery College and the University of Helsinki, from which Giovanni holds a PhD in Mathematics. Educational credentials also include a Licentiate and Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Helsinki and the University of Bologna, respectively.
