Mark Hitchen

Mark Hitchen is a finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as Group Finance Manager and EFL Digital Finance Manager at the English Football League since February 2016, Mark has also held positions as a Financial Accountant. Prior to joining the EFL, Mark worked as an Accounting Trainee at Haleys Business Advisers and as a Cost Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover. Mark began a career in finance with an initial role in accounting work experience at Whitehead & Howarth Chartered Accountants. Mark's educational qualifications include completion of ACCA from 2017 to 2020 and AAT from 2014 to 2017, along with a background in business studies from Cardinal Newman College Preston and St Cecilias High School.
