Ryan Hyde

Ryan Hyde is the Head of Governance at the English Football League (EFL), a position held since March 2021, responsible for overseeing ownership controls at EFL Clubs and ensuring compliance with EFL Regulations. Prior to this role, Ryan served as Governance Manager and Governance Officer at EFL Trust, engaging with Community Club Owners (CCOs) to enhance their governance practices. Additionally, Ryan held the position of Business Support Officer at Lancashire County Council. Ryan is an alumnus of the University of Oxford, where a Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence (Law) was obtained, and is a graduate of Lancaster Royal Grammar School.
