Michael Bligen

Michael Bligen has over two decades of experience in ocean export operations and management, currently serving as the Ocean Export Operations Manager at EFL since May 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at JAS Worldwide from October 2016 to May 2022, including Ocean Trade Manager and Ocean Export Manager. Michael's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Panalpina from July 2005 to October 2016, where positions included Business Unit Air/Ocean Export Manager and Business Unit Export Account Manager. Earlier in Michael's career, roles at Rogers & Brown from November 1999 to July 2005 as Ocean Export Team Lead and Ocean Export Agent contributed to a strong foundation in the industry. Michael earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Charleston Southern University between 1995 and 1999.
