Metka Tekavčič is a professor of cost and performance management, as well as public-sector management, at the University of Ljubljana, where they also served as Dean of the School of Economics and Business from 2013 to 2023. Tekavčič is currently a member of the UL SEB Senate and holds various leadership roles, including being a Board Member of EFMD and Chairwoman of the Steering Committee for the Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools. They have received recognition for their excellence in management, including the Artemida award in 2014. Their research interests focus on forensic accounting and sustainability management, and they have served on several accreditation committees, including AACSB and EQUIS.
