Hubert Méchain

Hubert Méchain is a Biopharmaceutical Operations Director with over 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical development, specializing in drug candidates, biomanufacturing, and cell and gene therapy. Starting their career as a biotech engineer at Sanofi-Synthelabo, Hubert transitioned to leading the GMP manufacturing site at Transgène, overseeing extensive clinical batch production for major international partners. They have worked as a consultant and served in leadership roles, including CTO at BrainEver and currently as Directeur National Bioproduction at EFS, managing CDMO activities across multiple bioproduction sites. Hubert holds a Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from Polytech Marseille and an Executive Master of Business Administration from EM Strasbourg Business School.
