Matthias Dean

Matthias Dean has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. Matthias is currently working at DreamHack as the Rocket League Championship Series: North American Regional Manager. In addition, they are also serving as the Collegiate Operations Coordinator at eFuse. Prior to these roles, Matthias was the Director of Operations at the College Carball Association. Matthias also worked as the Owner & Administrator at Ascending Champions Esports, where they supervised weekly tournaments, coordinated staff, and ensured client satisfaction. Matthias gained experience as a Systems & Cyber Security Intern at Peraton Labs. Previously, they held the position of Senior Researcher / Project Head at Taylor University on behalf of Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Labs, conducting research on malware analysis. Before entering the esports and technology industry, Matthias worked as a Banquet Waiter at L.A. Gourmet Catering and as an Election Judge at Champaign County Clerk, where they provided excellent service to guests and facilitated the voting process, respectively.

Matthias Dean pursued their education in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity at Taylor University from 2018 to 2022.
