Daniel Shady

Daniel Shady is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security architecture and government security advisory roles. Currently serving as a FedRAMP Government Security Advisor at eGain Corporation since October 2023, Daniel previously held the position of Security Architect at Sumo Logic from September 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing security operations and managing incident responses. Daniel's career began in the US Navy, serving from August 2011 to September 2018 as System Architect and Lead Cyber Security Analyst, where security processes and compliance structures were developed, and training for staff was created. Additionally, Daniel served as a Project Lead – Network Exploitation Analyst at the National Security Agency from July 2012 to August 2015, managing extensive network operations. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity Planning and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, expected to be completed in June 2024.
