Mark Wetzels

Mark Wetzels is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and business management. As Managing Partner at Egeria since May 2004, Mark leads a European Private Equity firm specializing in the Benelux and DACH mid-market, focusing on companies with enterprise values of EUR 50 to 500 million. Prior to this role, Mark served as an Investment Director managing a €500 million private equity fund, specifically targeting the Benelux mid-market. Mark's earlier career includes an Associate position at Gilde Investment Management and co-ownership of VMS Group, an import organization. Mark holds an MBA from ESADE Business School and NYU Stern School of Business, as well as a Master in Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
