Egeskov is no ordinary castle.

It is one of Europe’s finest Renaissance buildings, featuring a real moat, spires, a great hall and grotesque figures in its masonry. You will discover things to see and do in every corner of the park and inside the more than 450-year-old castle, where Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Larvig-Bille live with his family. You are more than welcome to take a look inside the castle! They love having guests at the castle, in the par, in the big play forest and at the many inspiring exhibitions in the castle’s beautiful farm buildings. 

Take your family on fun excursions in the forest or scenic walks in the par, where you can explore the pristine gardens as the children enjoy themselves for hours and learn in the process without even realizing it.
