Thomas Demschner is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in structural engineering, research and development, and project management. Demschner began with a degree in engineering from HTL Moedling and attained a Dipl.-Ing. degree from Technische Universität Wien, followed by an Executive MBA from EDU Effective Business School. Career progression includes roles as Project Engineer at iC consulenten ZT GesmbH, Senior Project Engineer at David Taubman & Associates, and Project Engineer/Civil Engineer at Lafarge Cement Technical Center Vienna. Thomas served as Senior Structural Engineer for the Sustainable Construction & Innovation Team at Lafarge between April 2010 and September 2012, followed by positions as R&D Engineer and later R&D Manager at Stora Enso until May 2016. Currently, Thomas holds the position of Senior R&D Expert at EGGER Group, starting January 2024.
