Antony Edwards is the current Chief Operating Officer at Eggplant. Antony has held this position since February of 2017 and is responsible for the company's ecosystem development, technical services, community development, marketing, tools software development, and customer programs. The team they lead is made up of 80 people in 5 countries.

Prior to joining Eggplant, Edwards was the Chief Product Officer / Chief Technology Officer at Scientific Games from October 2011 to September 2012. In this role, they led the team responsible for the product management of Symbian OS “characteristics” (e.g. performance, usability, and quality), all Symbian’s development tools, and other non-OS products.

Before Scientific Games, Edwards was with Symbian Foundation from May 2008 to May 2009 as Executive Vice President - Product. In this role, they were responsible for proposing, designing, and leading the implementation of tools to improve developers’ productivity. From August 2002 to February 2009 they served as Vice President of Product Management at Symbian.

Edwards began their career as a Researcher at IBM Research from January 2001 to December 2002. Antony then went on to be the Chief Product Officer / Chief Technology Officer at Testplant from September 2012 to February 2017 before joining Eggplant as their COO.

Antony Edwards completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with first-class honours in computer engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

They are on a team with Chris Verdin - CFO, Gareth Smith - CTO, and Richard Ward - EVP Worldwide Sales. Antony Edwards reports to John Bates, CEO.
