Patrick Celie has extensive experience in structural biology and protein facility management. Since September 2005, Patrick has served as the Protein Facility Manager at NKI-AVL, overseeing the operations of a national facility dedicated to protein expression, purification, characterization, and crystallization. Previously, as a Project Manager for the Crystallization Section of the EU project "BIOXHIT," Patrick focused on method development for 'In Crystallo' exchange of MHC Class I ligands within MHC Class I protein crystals. Between January 2000 and June 2005, Patrick conducted biochemical and structural analyses of Acetylcholine binding proteins as a Post-Doc at NKI-AVL, following a PhD at Sanquin Amsterdam from 1994 to 1999, and earlier studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1987 to 1993.
