Robin Plaat

Robin Plaat is a dedicated head and neck oncologic surgeon at Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden, where they have practiced as an otorhinolaryngologist since 2002. In addition to their clinical work, Robin teaches diving medicine, sharing knowledge with diving physicians through the Scott Haldane Foundation. They have held various positions in the medical field, including being a fellow in oncologic head and neck surgery and a diving physician, certified by the European College for Baromedicine. Robin's commitment to community service is evident through their board memberships at Stichting ter behoud van het skûtsje de Yde and Stichting Culturele Evenementen Martinikerk Sneek. They hold an MD from the University of Amsterdam and completed a fellowship in Head & Neck surgery at Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen.
