Avi Carmeli

Avi Carmeli is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical manufacturing and project management, currently serving as an Engineering Team Leader at EGMO since April 2011. Avi has a history of leading strategic projects, managing production infrastructure development, and overseeing program implementation and budget management. Previously held positions include Research and Development Engineer and Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed product development, process improvement, and training production personnel. Prior to EGMO, Avi worked at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Techjet Aerofoils, where roles focused on high-power laser specialization, compliance with industry standards, and operational project management. Avi holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
