Jonatan Persson

Group CEO at EGN Group

Jonatan Persson is the Group CEO at EGN Group. Jonatan has previous experience as the International Director at Albatros Travel and a Personal Assistant to the CEO at Superfos.

Jonatan was responsible for a greenfield international expansion into the Nordic markets at Albatros Travel, which resulted in a doubling of company revenue during the period. Jonatan successfully turned around the East and South Africa subsidiaries, incl. establishment and later profitable divestment of safari camp in Kenya. Jonatan also successfully turned around the subsidiary in Greenland incl. M&A of largest competitor. In addition, they greenfield established a subsidiary in China and established a JV in India.

At Superfos, they were part of the group management team and had personal responsibility for group projects such as sourcing optimization, organizational structure change from centralized to regional, G&A cost reductions as well as being the project leader on Key Account Management implementation and strategy planning projects. Jonatan was also a project member on M&A.

Jonatan Persson's educational career includes a variety of executive education courses from renowned institutions, as well as a diploma in business administration, a master's degree in business psychology, and a bachelor's degree in Austrian Ski Federation/Innsbruck University. Jonatan is also a member of CEO peer advisory group 10 in Denmark and has completed a certification from EGN Danmark in EGN Executive Peer Group in partnership with Harvard Business Publishing.
