Johannes Manske

Johannes Manske has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Johannes is currently the Founder and CEO of egora, a position they have held since August 2021. Additionally, they serve as an Angel Investor at Humboldt Ventures GmbH, where they invest in pre-seed and seed start-ups. Some of the companies in their investment portfolio include Passionfroot, Tourlane, Plantix, Aiconomix, Arbio, Sharpist, and tacto.

Prior to their current roles, Johannes worked as a Brand Ambassador at adidas starting in 2015. Johannes also held the position of Transformation Consultant at Fußball-Woche Verlags GmbH, where they initiated the digital-transformation process, developing a go-to-market strategy and setting up a sustainable subscription business model.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship and consulting, Johannes completed a Management Internship at MANSKE Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater, where they gained valuable experience in management.

Johannes has also pursued a career in professional football. Johannes played for Sport-Club Freiburg e.V., winning the Meister Regionalliga Südwest and earning promotion to the 3. Liga. Johannes also played for FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin Fußball GmbH and Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA earlier in their career.

Johannes Manske completed their Abitur at Arndt-Gymnasium Dahlem from 2010 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Jurastudium, allgemein (general law studies) at Freie Universität Berlin, where they are expected to earn their Staatsexamen degree between 2018 and 2024. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the DFB Trainer C-Lizenz certification from the Berliner Fußball-Verband in June 2018.
