Rupert Small

Rupert Small, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and mathematical modeling. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Egregious since July 2023, Rupert leads a platform aimed at combating AI deception and misinformation online. Previously, Rupert held the position of Engineering Manager in Applied Science at Improbable, where large-scale simulations enabled innovative decision-making processes. Prior roles include Chief Data Scientist at Ninety Percent of Everything, where Rupert optimized global product transportation using cutting-edge AI technology, and Lead Data Scientist at Flexciton, developing AI solutions for industrial operations. Rupert's career began at Tessella as an Associate Mathematical Developer, specializing in data science and programming. Rupert earned a PhD in Mathematics and an MSci in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Bristol.
