Mark Wares

Mark Wares is the current Director of Software Development at Egress. Prior to this, they held the position of Development Team Lead at Tribal Group from January 2008 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the delivery of market leading software, working with the Product Owner and key stakeholders to define the strategic roadmap for the team. Mark also measured individual and team operational performance, tracked sprint progress, removed impediments, and provided technical expertise.

Wares began their career as a Developer at Active from January 2000 to December 2003. Mark then moved to Minit UK Ltd., where they held the same title from January 1997 to December 2000. Wares later transitioned to Irwin Mitchell as a Developer from July 2006 to December 2007 before taking on their role as Analyst Programmer at civica from January 2003 to August 2006.

Mark Wares studied Advance IT at Sheffield College.

Their manager is Darren Cooper, CTO. Mark Wares works with Andy Whittlestone - Director of Engineering, Alexei Shamov - VP, Product Architecture, and James Hinks - VP, Solutions Engineering.
