Michael Wei

Michael (Meijiu) Wei is an accomplished geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Technical Principal - Geotechnical at EIC Activities since March 2017, Michael has also held the position of Technical Principal - Geotechnics at SMEC since May 2009. Prior roles include Senior Project Engineer at Aurecon/Connell Wagner from July 1999 to May 2009. Michael earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, where studies were completed from 1985 to 1989, following education at Taiyuan University of Science and Technology from 1975 to 1978.
