Massimo Barsotti has extensive work experience in the technology and media industries. Massimo began their career at Unisys in 1990, where they worked on various projects in the newspaper market as a Project Manager. In this role, they oversaw the deployment of new editorial systems and collaborated with the marketing team for pre-sales activities and events. From 1997 to 1999, Barsotti served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Unisys, creating and managing a QA team and visiting customers to address any issues. Massimo then transitioned to the role of Marketing Product Manager from 2000 to 2002, where they led a team in developing future directions for the company's media solutions, despite challenges from company strategy changes.
In 2002, Barsotti joined Eidosmedia as the Quality Assurance Director, responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's software products. Massimo also participated in national and international marketing activities and events due to their past experiences. In 2008, Barsotti became the Chief Marketing Officer at Eidosmedia, promoting the company's products and services. Massimo is currently the Chief Product Officer, leading the development and execution of the company's product strategy with a focus on growth and revenue generation. Barsotti also manages a high-performing product team and fosters a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Massimo is actively involved in building next-gen, disruptive solutions for news media and financial services.
Massimo Barsotti earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Informatica from Università di Pisa, graduating in 1986. Massimo then attended Università degli Studi di Milano, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science/Informatica in 1990. Additionally, they received a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University on Coursera in December 2017.
