Jon Smedsrud

Jon Smedsrud is a seasoned professional in the field of digital business development and IT strategy, currently serving as the Head of Digital Business Development at Eidsiva since October 2024 and a member of the IT Advisory Board at Bertel O. Steen AS since April 2022. Previously, Jon held key roles at Elvia, including Head of IT Strategy and Transformation and Interim CIO, from April 2021 to September 2024. With a strong background at Capgemini Invent from August 2011 to March 2021, Jon advanced through various positions, ultimately becoming a Director focused on Operations & Technology. Earlier experience includes consulting roles at Capgemini and a summer internship at Zenitel in embedded devices development. Jon holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications - Information Security from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has further education from BI Norwegian Business School and the National University of Singapore.
