Ian Shim

Ian Shim has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Ian is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at EigenLayer. Prior to this, they served as the Software Engineering Lead at Center Pixel, Inc. from August 2022 to May 2023. Ian worked as a Software Engineer at Square from July 2019 to January 2022. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Facebook from June 2016 to June 2019. Ian also worked briefly as a Software Engineer at Try The World in 2015. Ian started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook and a Software Engineering Intern at Google in 2015 and 2014, respectively. Before their internships, Ian worked as a Mobile Engineer at VCNC in early 2014. Ian also has experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon in 2013 and served as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from November 2012 to May 2013.

Ian Shim completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science at Columbia University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University between 2010 and 2015. Ian began their education at Stony Brook School from 2005 to 2010, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
