Samuel Laferriere

Samuel Laferriere has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Samuel started their career as a Research Intern at Element AI in 2018, where they specialized in Visual Domain Adaptation Research and gained experience in industrial coding practices and software workflow. In 2020, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute. Samuel then joined Orangead in 2021 as the Head of AI and R&D, where they focused on Vue.js, Serverless AWS, CICD code pipelines, unit/integration/end2end tests, embedded arm Linux, and Mediapipe realtime people detection.
