Steve Polacek

Steve Polacek has worked in the design industry since 1997, when they began their career as an intern at Robinson & Maites. Steve then worked as a designer at Harbauer Bruce Nelson Design LTD, where they designed collateral and packaging for Eli's Cheesecake, Quaker Chewy Granola Bars and Borden's Cheese and Dairy. In 1999, they moved to Rare Air Media as a Senior Designer, working with brands such as the NBA, ABC, and Hard Rock Cafe. In 2002, they became Art Director at NVU Productions, a brand management firm. Steve then joined Razorfish as Senior Art Director in 2004, followed by Designkitchen as Associate Creative Director in 2007. In 2008, they co-founded Eight Bit Studios, and in 2014 they were Design Director at TEDxTemecula. In 2017, they co-founded Creative Candor LLC, and in 2020 they founded SupportMyTeam.

Steve Polacek attended Lyons Township High School from 1990 to 1994. Steve then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art in Visual Communications from Northern Illinois University, which they completed in 1999.
