Daniel Florian

Daniel Florian currently serves as the Head of AI Policy & Regulation at Eightfold since May 2025. Prior to this role, Daniel was the Director of Government Affairs for EMEA & APJ at Dropbox from December 2017 to January 2025, where responsibilities included engaging with policymakers on cloud policy, AI, privacy, and data regulations across Europe. Daniel also held the position of Head of Government Affairs in Germany at Dropbox, focusing on similar areas. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Public Policy Germany at METRO AG and as Account Director at GPLUS, where Daniel was a founding employee of the Berlin office. Additionally, Daniel founded the Think Tank Directory, a comprehensive resource on German think tanks. Daniel holds an M.A. in Public Administration and Public Policy from the University of York and a B.A. in Political Science and History from Ruhr University Bochum.
