Scott Themer

Scott Themer is an experienced IT professional, currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Educational and Institutional Insurance Administrators (EIIA) since July 2018. In this role, Scott oversees the internal IT department, providing comprehensive support for various IT-related needs, managing cloud servers, and ensuring cybersecurity. Prior to EIIA, Scott held various positions including IT Manager at Hunter Douglas Metals, Inc., where responsibilities included maintaining secure computer operations, and Software Systems Analyst at the National Marine Manufacturers Association, focusing on software application support. Earlier experience includes a long tenure at the University of Chicago as a Senior Systems Programmer, managing projects and providing technical leadership.
