Chad Hackenberg

Chad Hackenberg is an experienced design engineer with a diverse background in automotive, appliance, and medical device tooling. Currently serving as a Design Engineer at Nissha Eimo Technologies since March 2023 and as Director of R&D and Design at Kinetic Solutions Group LLC since January 2023, Chad has a proven track record in vehicle prototyping and composite manufacturing. Prior roles include Senior Composite Designer Fleet R&D at Wonder, where Chad focused on composite and foam mold tooling, and Product Designer at Summit Polymers, specializing in automotive HVAC systems and mechanisms. Chad also has experience in mold design and CNC programming from previous positions at SSS Plastics and other mold companies, and began a career in management at Bill Knapp's Restaurants. Chad's education includes an Associate of Science in CAD Design and certifications in fire fighting and emergency medical technology.
