Marteinn Sigurdarson

Marteinn Sigurdarson has extensive work experience in the field of technology and infrastructure management. Marteinn currently works at Eimskip as an Infrastructure Manager, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Arion banki as a Technical Manager starting in 2017. Marteinn also has experience at Arion Bank as a System Administrator and Team Lead, starting in 2007. Before joining Arion Bank, Marteinn worked at Reykjavík University as a System Administrator from 2006 to 2007. Marteinn began their career at EJS hf. in 1995 as a Technical Support Engineer before moving on to become a System Consultant and Team Lead. In this role, they were responsible for team management, system installations, migrations, and providing consultation to customers.

Marteinn Sigurdarson completed their high school education at Menntaskólinn við Sund from 1985 to 1989. Following that, they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering at Technical College Reykjavik from 1992 to 1995.
