Payman Samadi

Payman Samadi has more than 15 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Payman currently serves as the CEO at eino, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Cornell Tech as an Entrepreneur and Scientist starting in 2017. Payman also participated in Batch 25 at 500 Startups from 2019 to 2020.

Payman's academic career includes roles as a Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2013 to 2017. Payman was also the President and Co-founder of KAPA Data Technologies from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they worked at Optiwave Systems Inc. as a Product Manager and Research Associate from 2011 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, Payman gained experience as a Research Assistant at McGill University from 2007 to 2011. Payman also interned at OCLARO in 2009. Payman'swork as a Research Assistant at University of Windsor from 2005 to 2007 further enhanced their skills and knowledge.

Payman's professional journey began as an Electrical Engineer at Radira Company in 2004, where they were responsible for designing drawings and specifications for electrical parts of oil, gas, and petrochemical plants. Payman supervised construction and coordinated with various departments.

Payman Samadi completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Digital Signal Processing at the University of Windsor, from 2005 to 2007. Payman Samadi then went on to complete their PhD in Photonics at McGill University, from 2007 to 2011.
