Jared Barnard

Jared Barnard is an experienced attorney currently serving as Of Counsel at EIP since May 2021 and as an attorney at Barnard Law, LLC since November 2011. With a strong focus on intellectual property, business transactions, and general corporate matters, Jared has developed and managed patent portfolios for life sciences and biotechnology clients, drafted and negotiated complex acquisition documents, and represented clients in various business negotiations. Previously, Jared held the position of Corporate Counsel at Nostix LLC, where key achievements included leading the sale of the company to Teleflex Incorporated and managing intellectual property strategy. Additional experience includes roles involving risk assessment at Promontory Financial Group and legal clerkship at Berenbaum Weinshienk PC. Jared holds a J.D. in Business Law and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Denver and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Molecular Biology from Colorado College.
