Matt Lawman

Matt Lawman is a seasoned Partner and Patent Attorney at EIP, with extensive experience in representing clients throughout the patent application process and in various Intellectual Property Office hearings across the UK and Europe. Since joining EIP in 2005, Lawman has built on a robust background that includes serving as IP Director at ZOO Digital Group plc and Blaze Photonics, where responsibilities encompassed developing comprehensive patent and trademark strategies and overseeing high-value patent portfolios. Previous roles include IP Counsel at Hewlett-Packard and Patent Attorney at BT, along with a foundation in software engineering from Philips Medical Systems. Lawman holds an MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey.
