Daragh Oman has extensive work experience in various roles within the telecommunications and IT industries.

Daragh started their career in 1991 as a Technical Support Engineer at Business Electronic Equipment, where they provided technical support. Daragh then moved on to Icon Software Ireland in 1993, where they served as a Technical Support Manager.

In 1995, Daragh joined Relay Systems as a Senior Support Engineer, responsible for providing technical support.

In 1999, they joined eircomnet as a Senior Implementation Engineer/Technical Team Lead, leading a team in designing, developing, delivering, and supporting electronic data interchange services and communication solutions.

Daragh later joined eir Business in 2011 and held various roles such as Managed Services Centre Duty Manager, where they led engineering teams in providing managed network services. In their role as Service Control Manager, they oversaw outsource and managed services, ensuring ITIL processes were followed. Daragh eventually became the Head of Service Management, Reporting & Governance, where they led a team providing governance, reporting, relationship management, and risk management to Enterprise & Government customers.

Most recently, in 2023, Daragh joined eir evo as the Head of Quality and Compliance, responsible for ensuring quality standards and compliance with regulations.

Daragh Oman holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Internet Systems from Dublin City University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Technology from the same university between 1996 and 1999. Daragh also obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from Dublin City University from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Daragh has acquired several certifications, including the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification and the ITIL4 Managing Professional, among others.
