Torgrim Lien

Torgrim Lien serves as Chief Insurance Officer at Eir Försäkring AB since January 2019, leading teams in P&UW, Data Analytics, Claims, IT, and Reinsurance. Previously, Torgrim held the position of CEO at Adapa AS from January 2010 to May 2018 and worked as a consultant at Urzus Group AS during the same period. Torgrim has extensive experience in underwriting, product development, and pricing for personal and commercial lines, having been Head of Underwriting at WaterCircles Scandinavia AS and held various board positions within the WaterCircles group. Additionally, Torgrim founded Contemi in 2001 and led its initiatives in insurance startups and dynamic pricing until 2010. Early career roles included Head of Risk Analyses and Statistics at Avenir and Product Manager at Custor Consulting AS. Torgrim holds a Cand.Oecon degree in Finance and Econometrics from the University of Oslo, completed between 1989 and 1994.
