Conal Campbell

Conal Campbell is a seasoned policy professional with a strong background in climate policy and business operations. Currently serving as Senior Policy Lead at EirGrid Group since October 2023, Conal previously held the position of Policy Project Lead at Ember, where significant contributions included leading initiatives on methane emissions and authoring a pivotal report on the steel sector that was endorsed by the UN Environment Program. Prior to Ember, Conal was involved in business operations at Stripe following the acquisition of Touchtech Payments, where leadership as Head of Marketing facilitated innovative payment authentication technologies. Earlier experience includes roles in international public affairs at Naftogaz of Ukraine and investment banking at Dragon Capital. Educational qualifications encompass an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, an MA from UCL, and a BA from Trinity College Dublin.
