David M.

David M. has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. David started their career in 1996 as an Engineer at Eircell and then worked as a Standards Engineer at Dolphin Telecom from 1999 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they served as a Product Portfolio Manager at Lucent Technologies. David then moved to the GSMA in 2004, where they worked as a Technology & Standards Director until 2007. David M. joined eir Ireland in 2007 and held the position of Enterprise Architect Principal until 2018. David then worked as an Enterprise Architect at Independent News & Media from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they serve as the Head of IT Strategy and Emerging Technology at EirGrid Group, starting in 2019.

David M. attended Trinity College Dublin from 1992 to 1996 and earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Electronic & Electrical Engineering. David also has a certification in the TOGAF® Certification Program from The Open Group, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
